Through empathic counselling I can help individuals and families manage themselves through crisis and loss.
William Faulkner
You don’t have to go through your difficulties alone.
This is a non-judgmental and safe space in which to be heard and validated.
I am originally from the UK, resident in New Zealand for the past 25 years. Having travelled extensively over the past 50 years I have a sensitivity to the cultural differences and experiences clients bring to counselling.
My own experience of the sudden death of a loved one in 2010 has deepened my understanding of the feelings and dynamics associated with the processing of grief. Whilst we all process grief in our own unique ways, I offer empathy based on lived experience
Bringing empathic, non-judgmental support so that individuals & families feel heard and validated.
Creating a safe space for honest reflection, whilst upholding confidentiality.
Providing expert advice on the skills needed to manage depression, abuse, trauma, anxiety, grief, and loss.
